Tag Glossary

This glossary defines the classification tags used throughout Stationeering Systems. Tags group articles by engineering function, operational role, and system domain.

They are applied with intention to assist operators in locating relevant documentation, comparing implementations, and tracing design evolution across environments.

As the project expands, this glossary will serve as a reference for interpreting patterns, identifying related modules and understanding the scope of each post within the larger infrastructure map.

  • architecture
    High-level layout and structural planning of systems and subsystems.

  • atmospherics
    Gas management, environmental control, and system design related to breathable and industrial atmospheres.

  • build-forward
    A phased construction methodology prioritizing incremental deployment and pre-staged resources.

  • expansion
    Strategies and systems related to scaling up infrastructure and base functionality—not performance optimization.

  • filtration
    Gas separation, contaminant removal, and system purity control.

  • implementation
    Applied construction and control logic for real systems under deployment.

  • incident-log
    In-universe postmortems compiled by STA-3X. Document operator failures, near-misses, and behavioral anomalies using formal structure and reconstructed telemetry.

  • infrastructure
    Foundational systems including piping, cabling, and shared base support layers.

  • logic
    IC10 scripting, automation behaviors, and discrete control systems.

  • mechanics
    Simulation rules and in-game physics systems, such as pressure dynamics and gas behavior.

  • methodology
    Procedural approaches and systematized techniques guiding design, construction, and scaling.

  • moon-normal-standard
    Engineering systems intended for Moon, normal difficulty, standard build kit.

  • power
    Electrical infrastructure, power generation, consumption planning, and energy system diagnostics.

  • reference

    Static data, lookup charts, throughput specs, and supporting calculations.

  • safety
    Guidelines and protocols to reduce risk, improve hazard awareness, and prevent system failure.

  • survival
    Covers foundational decisions, hazards, and infrastructure built to keep operators alive in harsh planetary environments.

  • thermal
    Heat exchange, cooling loops, and temperature stabilization in gas systems and room conditioning.

    Economic analysis, market probabilities, and production infrastructure for generating revenue through trader transactions.
